We were honored to have several special "friends" join us for the day.
In the first photo above is Ken Buzzell, his wife Lisa and their daughter Heather (along with their dog). Maggie was lucky enough to meet Ken on the internet in her search of the Buzzell heritage. Ken has done extensive research on the Buzzell name and past generations. He was truly a welcome addition to the day with all his knowledge of the Buzzell name and sharing it with everyone. He also brought along such informative reading materials of his research for all to peruse.
The other photograph is of Dexter. Dexter lives in New York City and is part of the "Fresh Air Fund" program. This program gives inner-city children the opportunity to visit the "country" for a couple of weeks each summer. It gives them the chance to escape the heat and grime of the city and experience nature in its full glory. Much appreciation goes out to Lenny and his family for giving this chance to Dexter for the last few summers. It must be such a rewarding experience.
Many other family members brought along friends and guests with them. They were all welcomed with open arms to enjoy the day with us.
